January. The time when most of us adults prefer staying at home, keeping warm, with left-over Christmas sweets. Children laze around in bed with a cup of tea and books that they got for Christmas, and some of them have a furry ball warming their feet. But what about all those furry balls that have no feet to warm? Some of them can be found in the garden of Mrs. Synková’s Home for Abandoned and Abused Dogs in Ostrava-Heřmanice. Let’s give up one lazy Sunday morning in bed with Christmas cookies, let’s put on some warm clothes and give the doggies a proper walk. Or perhaps they will take us for a walk? And who will be more happy?
Come on 14 January, first to the gallery where you can see the current exhibition Heroic vs. Holistic, which we will combine with the destination of our family workshop. We will then take a trolleybus to Heřmanice, leaving the cars at home. We will see that even small things done for the environment, people and all living creatures around us can be heroic. And those who know how to look will feel something beautiful…
This Sunday workshop will exceptionally take place in the morning only, i.e. from 10 am.
Estimated time 2.5 hours. Suitable for children over 6.
Workshop capacity 20 persons. Please book at info@plato-ostrava.cz.
Recommended admission fee 30 CZK
